I have a little idea that I wish to share, and it's one that I'd like to see finished, so I'm calling out artists to help me make this idea a reality.
First things first...this is somewhat of a competition, though I'm not sure how many competitors I'm going to get for this. Secondly, it is a Pokemon contest, so if this is not your kind of thing then so be it, but it might be good to try out even for those not into pokemon. Third, there are eight designs to work with, so there are eight different contests...you can either choose to do one, or choose several, it does not matter, you may even choose to try them all if you like. And finally, since it is a contest those that win will be awarded.
The best designs will be rewarded with: A character will be designed for you based on details that you give us and will make a special appearance in the Pokémon Underground Game, as well as being partnered up with the pokemon that you designed, along with a team of your choosing. Not only that, but you will be given the option of having a pokemon of your own ideas introduced in the game as well, but only if you wish to do so. And lastly, I or the team's artist can design something for you if you'd like...this too is also optional. If these prizes don't seem to fit you, then if you win we can negotiate some other way to award you.
Now, onto the designs. These ideas are based off of two elements: Birds and Hair. Each one represents a different type of bird, as well as a different style of hair. I have a small amount of info for these, so if you wish you may make suggestions. First off is Shagick, a small base stage pokemon covered in a thick messy hair. It is a bird, more so a hatchling, and the only thing that should really be visible is it's beak, and possibly it's stubby wings peaking out of the thick hair. For this one there are no color preferences, so use whatever colors, styles, and details you think would work best.

Next is Afrowl, and as I'm sure you can tell it's supposed to be an owl with an afro. This may seem funny, and in some cases it is, but this design, as well as the rest are very serious. It is a Psychic and Flying type, and those are the only real details I have. So, whatever comes to mind for you when you read the words "Psychic Owl with an Afro", just go with it, there are no preferences at all for this one.

For our 3rd contest we have Smohawx, a hawk with a Mohawk, I know it's cheesy. It's a poison type, and has a bad attitude, kind of like those punk rockers with the spiked clothing, if you wish you can incorporate that into the design but it is not required. One important detail that must be present is Smog, a sort of poisonous gas, and must be part of the design in some way.

Next we have Falraid, a Fire/Flying Falcon with braided hair. In my opinion I was thinking of an Indian/native-America style to go with this one, seeing as some of them wear braids in their hair. It's just an idea, but if you think of something better then go with it, remember, the best design get's the award, so if you have something you can pull off using a fire type bird with braids then try it.

For our fifth contest we have Vulcrowz, a combination Vulture-Crow pokemon, with it's hairstyle being cornrows...and as you would guess it's a Dark type, especially with it being a combo of those two birds. I leave this design up to you, whatever you can come up with will be acceptable, and the best design wins.

Most of you will laugh at this next one, I know I did. It's penguin...with a comb-over, and the idea I'm going with is that it resembles Donald Trump, hairstyle and all. I think the perfect type of penguin to use for this would be the crested ones, who have that orangish-yellow hair coming off their heads and eyebrows. You can choose from Fiordland, Snares, North South East or West Rockhopper, Royal, Macaroni, or Chatham...if you don't know them then look them up to get a good idea.

The 7th is Drucklocks...a duck with dreadlocks, pretty simple idea, and probably easy to picture. The only idea I can come up with is maybe base it off of guys like Bob Marley, as far as the personality and style goes. Other than that, it's really up to you. I'll pick the best design.

Lastly we have one that can't be left out, and probably one you were expecting, and it's name is Baldegle...yes, a Bald Eagle. It's a Fighting/Flying type, so it's gotta be tough, other than that just run with whatever you can come up with...but he has to be bald or atleast buzzed on his head. I know Bald Eagles in real aren't actually bald, but this is a design for a pokemon, and I wanted it to live up to it's name. If you want, you can include a birthmark on it's head that resembles a tattoo, doesn't matter what the design of the tat is, but it's up to you if you wish to add something, it's just an option.

Info: This species is of the most rare in existence, few are ever seen, and even less are captured. Due to the extremely high voltage that builds up in the cloud on its back, thunderstorms are often seen in the places where these pokemon gather. The orb on its back serves as its lifeforce, when the light goes out, or if the orb is broken, this pokemon dies.

Info: This pokemon was said to be re-enginered from Robomon's DNA, and designed originally for military use, until the program was shut down when lightning hit a group of inactive ones, causing them to go out of control and return to the wild habits of their origins. There are not many recorded sightings because of this Pokemon's tendency to send a high voltage shock into any living thing it comes in contact with, therefore leaving those who see it with serious brain damage and almost permanent amnesia.

(PS: If someone does this one can a staff be included being held in it's other arm, seeing as one arm has some sort of bladed glove thing...and the original idea that I had come up with had a staff, which the artist seems to have failed to include.)

Info: A great pokemon of mystery and legend. It is said that only one of these can exist in each region at a time, and therefore that location is said to be it's territory. Although it may seem aggressive by looks and by origins, this pokemon is actually gentle by nature, and is known as "The Lightning Hero" to many who have seen it, as it willingly displays it's heroic nature when ever someone is in need, be they Human or Pokemon. Zapdos is said to have granted these pokemon small portions of it's power by bestowing them with a Thunder Staff in which it formed by striking lightning to the ground, and any that are seen without one are known as "The Dishonorable Ones". This pokemon has the power to speak telepahtically and can command storm clouds to form with it's psychic powers, and with its staff it can control what type of weather is produced from them, an example being that one may bring rain to an area that has been struck with drought.
